Heron in my garden today.

Yesterday I visited TheMere at Ellsmere in Shropshire. In the visitors centre a web cam was showing live images of nesting Herons around the lake.

Today a Heron returned the visit and landed for a brief period on a fence in our garden!
Just time to get my camera whilst he eyed up next doors fish pond!
