North Wales Coast- Holiday

Classic view of Landudno- Promenade, Pier and Happy Valley

A free week in early August allowed my wife and I to spend a weeks holiday in the small, quiet North Wales, seaside village of Rhos-on-Sea. An area which I had spent many happy holidays as a child.

It gave us a well earned break, and an opportunity to do plenty of walking. And being a photographer, You can never get me away from my camera! A opportunity to take a few photographs.

Another day we had a walk from Aber through the Coedydd Aber (Forest) to Rhaedadr Fawr (the big Waterfall).

This waterfall is 100 meters high and the river which flows over it has the steepest gradient of any river in Wales and England. Well Worth the effort of a few hours return walk from Aber village.

Helen & Konrad. St Chad's Cathederal, Birmingham

The first weekend in July, I had the pleasure of photographing the wedding of Helen and Konrad.

The ceremony took place at St Chad's Roman Catholic Cathedral, in Birmingham. It was the first time I had photographed a wedding at St Chad's and was very pleased when Helen and Konrad allowed me to photograph theirs.
I was allowed to take any shots that i wanted during the wedding ceremony so the Bride and Groom where surprised at the number of images that they received on their DVD slide show, that they did not know I had even taken!
After the ceremony the Bride and Groom traveled to Wolverhampton, to the reception which was held at the Connaught Hotel.

Birmingham Model Shoot

Last Sunday provided an opportunity to get together with a dozen other wedding photographers. To socialise and to try out a few new techniques.

A big thank you to our two beautiful models Ellie and Laura and to Gill Taylor for organising the day!

We met up in the Mailbox in Birmingham city centre before heading of to the nearby ruins of St Thomas's Church and the Peace Gardens.

It was a great day.I'm sure we all learnt something new. And it was very Hot!!
